American flyers always does their CFII initial then the CFI-A. I'm going to the Aug. 9 class in Addison, TX and staying with some friends for the 30 days. Should be fun! Where are you taking the class?

I grew up in Ft. Lauderdale, I know exactly where you are. In fact, I thought about attending the Aug 9th class there and staying with a pal in Las Olas. Would be a drive though. :D

It would be worth the drive to be in that area and not Texas.

Believe me, I thought about it. There is one major problem if I go to Lauderdale; I wont have a car. :o Going to Texas, I'll have a car to use and it's a straight 15 minute drive. I sure do miss Lauderdale (grew up in davie to be exact). One of the many reasons I want to get on with AAL in several years and be based in MIA. I just flat out miss it down there!
