135 Vs 121 Time
 
How do airlines approach this? Turbine 135 or 121....whats preferred? I am assuming 121 but might be wrong....

Majors prefer experience in this order, all other thing being equal...


1) Military
2) 121
3) 135
4) 91

It seems like now with the revamp of hiring amount of time, not type of time is all that matters, and it doesnt seem like a whole lot of time is needed. It will probably be low time regional captains (maybe fo's too) that make the jump. I think you will be hard pressed to see people giving up 10+ of seniority to go sit on reserve for less pay.
