I Got a call from ASA!!!!!

Basically i met Capt Robertson who is the manager of hiring at an 'open house' in Atlanta at a school called Aviation Atlanta. I tallked to him and gave him my resume. They called the next week and asked a bunch of questions but most notably what my total time was. Im at 370 and 77, but that quickly is about to change as I am done with standards at ATP and Im heading to Atlanta to teach add-on ratings in the seminole. Should be at 600+ and 300 by halloween, at which time I was told to give them (ASA) back a shout and Ill be brought in for interview.

Now i had the option of jumping the gun for a lesser quality regional, but instead i heeded the advice on this website and held out. The things that I have learned and the relationships i have created are priceless. So to all you low time guys with the resources to become a CFI, I highly recommend it!

BTW: I am a Western Michigan grad, not a 90-day ATP'er...

My class date is the 28th. We get our motel on the 27th. Is there a separate class on the 27th?

How do you know its a great company if you don't start for another 2 weeks? From the outside, I would say ASA looks like a cluster. Horrible labor/management relationship, contract thats been in negotiations for 5+ years now, some of the worst operational performance in the industry and an organization that is basically being bled dry by SkyWest. Am I missing something?
