PDT Interview Sept. 6

Got an email asking about interviewing on the 6th.... anyone else going.... or will it be an interview session of one?

belliott 08-16-2007 08:14 PM

Welllllll.... I guess I will be the only one interviewing.... should be telling me something I don't know already?

Should I ask why or better yet help?

Ok....I'll bite, why are you going to interview at a regional that has absolutely NO vertical movement in it (upgrades)? This comes from their own pilots.

Living at home or a short commute (aka less complaining from the gf)... having a pilot group with a significant amount of experience that I can learn from... not a bad payscale... I have multiple friends that I went to school with who have worked there for 2/3 years and they still enjoy it.

I guess that if nothing else interviewing with PDT would just be good experience at "the interview process."

Aside from vertical movement, older aircraft, and long hours why would you want to work for PDT?

Does anyone know the story about why they don't have the FO job listing on their website anymore?

They are one of the main airlines that I am looking to apply to in 1 1/2 months, with 1400+ TT, and once I have my 100 ME (I know that they don't require 100, but I have zero time in the past year, so I am flying a lot between now and then). Mostly for the same reason that someone else mentioned, would like to keep the wife happy.

The job listing is back up on the website....check it out, and good luck applying when the time comes.

I just wanted to let you know that I've got an interview with them on Sept 13th. Doesn't seem like there will be too much of a crowd...Anyone else going?

Good luck!

anyone know for sure if the $5000 sign on bonus is gone?

any word on the ATR's or Q400's as far as the fleet goes?

Why fly a slow turboprop and limit yourself to a relatively limited route structure? Coex will give you a jet and allow you to fly all over the country...
