express jet interview

I have an interview this Thursday. Any help would be much appreciated. I know they are picky about paperwork and I have been reading the gouges. Seems like I should know the systems on my last multi and Mexico Jepp plates really well. Is there anything else I could do to prepare? I really want this job...:o

Just go over that stuff and you'll be fine. They are mostly looking at you and how you act, not that you know everything on a Jepp plate. Good luck.

thanks! can't wait to find out.

Another small piece of advice, your interview starts the moment you step into the training center or the moment you get on that paid flight to IAH. Just remember to be courteous and professional at all times...be yourself, you'll be fine...best of luck!

It's mostly a personality interview. Yeah you have to know your stuff, but they are really seeing if they could spend a 4 day with you. Good luck.

I hope it is more HR cause I don't have the AFM to the last multi I flew and I hear they are big on systems.

Anyone know of an online site where I can brush up on BE-76 systems?

I was thinking of going to my local pilot shop and buying a manual on it but it is just so expensive!

Sounds like you are ready and will do fine, good luck. How long did it take to hear from them and what were your times?

av8tr_2007 08-19-2007 02:07 PM

Only ten days!

I think the trick is to keep checking their website for your status. I checked mine everyday. I heard that when you updated your profile it sent your info to the top of the pile of theirs. Who knows but I figure it doesn't hurt to try right?

Let me know how long it takes for you to get a response. :D

oh, I only have 880tt and 130 multi. The school where I was instructing was having some serious maintenance problems so I had to quit about two months ago.

I need to start earning an income here soon big time! If xjet doesn't hire me. I am going to have to start lowering the bar. Psa, Mesa, maybe even the dreaded others...

If they ask you questions about systems do they use a standard plane like a Baron or just the plane you have most of your hours in?
