XJT Minimums

Anyone know how firm XJT is on their 100 multi minimums or will they hire with a little less than that??

Pretty firm is what I hear from a few buddies who work for them...

Not even insider company interns can sneak past the 100 hr. multi requirement.

To my knowledge, the minimums are firm period. I haven't heard of anyone getting hired with less than 600/100, unless they were internal candidates, in which case, the mins were 500/100. Just keep at it, you'll get there. Good luck.

Thats exactly my understanding as well. My buddy here tried to walk in a resume with less than 100 hours, and this is what he was told.

However TSA, PSA, Mesaba, etc will take you with less than 100

they are very firm on it, i told them that i was under the 100 and they asked me come down to the interview. when i got there they said that minimums are minimums and to go home. from what i hear, im not the only one this has happened to.

Do you know if they count an advanced jet training course with about 20 hours in a CRJ level 5 FTD as multi time even though it is not logged multi time??

Nope. Doesn't count. Multi time means multi time. Sim time is pretty much meaningless when it comes to meeting application mins. However from what I gather ASA will lower their mins a bit if you have some sim time.
