Default Saab 340 download for flight sim

I’m currently training on the 340 at Mesaba. I’m just starting to learn the profiles for the aircraft. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good Saab 340 download for MS flight sim 2002. It’s always easier for me to learn something by doing it rather than reading it in a book.

Have you checked Avsim.com or Flightsim.com?

I'd say Flightsim.com would be the ticket - if you don't mind payware, I believe abacus.net has some good 340's??

That's how I did it in training on the 145 w/TSA...works like a charm! Best of luck.

I don't know about FS2002, but the FFS 340 for '04 is pretty darn accurate as far as what switches you can flip/avionics. I was able to download it as a torrent, if you're into that kind of thing.

Commuter Xpress 2, an add-on for FS04 is excellent. The SF340 is very accurate. It's from Abacus and cost me $19.99. Well worth it for what your talking about doing with it. Some of the freeware SF340's from the sites mentioned have good looking paint schemes but the panel's aren't very accurate. Not to say that there are not any with a true looking panel, you might just have to search. Just my 2 cents.

Does this mean I can just stay home now, and fly my lines at home?

Sweet deal, home every night!

In reference to the above poster, Flight Factory Simulations does make a very accurate Saab 340. I provided a link below for the review.

I believe it requires fs2004 to run, but you can go to Best Buy or any computer store and get a copy of it for like....19.99.

Thanks, I actually found a few Saabs on avsim and flightsim.com. There's almost too many Saabs to choose from.

The flight Factory simulations Saab looks Awesome. Unfortunately, it looks like they have shut down. Anyone know where I can find a copy or something similar.

Yep I'd go ahead and purchase a payware - you don't have to worry about the quality of the panel and flight characteristics then...Abacus is probably the way to go.
