Mesaba CRJ routes

Anyone know if or when Mesaba will increase the amount of destinations served by the CRJ (both the -200 and -900)? Currently, the route map is only showing 11 or 12 CRJ routes. I imagine by the time they have a fleet of more than 50 CRJs, the route map will be much more saturated with blue and grey lines.

What about specific destinations...

You would probably know before any of us. I don't know what the -200 is doing but right now there are 5 -900's based at MSP and they do MSP-FAR/MDW/DFW/MSN/YUL and maybe one or two others I forgot. The next batch of -900's are going to DTW and the only rumor I have heard of is MSY.

Dtw

Starting OCT 1st the 900 will be serving MKE, GRR, and GRB out of DTW. Other cities out of MSP are BIS, DSM, DCA, YXE, and STL.

900 will fly to AUS, MDT and PWM in October as well.

Just rode the 900 out of MSN today. Nice ride and comfy but there was no one next to me--can't wait to sit up front in a few years possibly.

on a side note our mec and uncle phil did verify that the 200's aren't leaving our property yet, and they are not sure when they will.

We are aware. NWA has asked us to focus on the 900 program which is enduring some growing pains. The 200's are on hold temporarily. We should be moving forward again in the next 6-8 weeks.

Latest I've heard is the 200's restart coming over to us in November.

Are the finally taking that DC9 off the PWM --DTW run and replacing it w the 900????? Im from PWM and it ll be sad to see that 9 leave, for a long time, right after 9/11 and before Air Tran and Jet Blue started coming in there, Northwest s DC9 was the online mainline aircraft to go in there, the rest were regionals.....just curious,...

The 135P DTW-PWM will become a CR9 on 10-15. The 910P departure will remain a DC9.
