Jacksonville FL base?
 

does anyone know if there is a base in Jacksonville Fl? I see xjt signs along 95 but have not heard of them having a base here. any info would be great.

No airline is based in Jax. Expressjet is running a lot of branded flying out of Jax but its not a base for them..

I come from J-ville FL. I wouldn't mind moving back there. I suppose a better question would be:

Which Airline has the best commute to Jax?

and lets throw Orlando in to the mix here as well. I think the only base in Orlando is a Mesa base, and we know what the story is there. So it seems like one shold commute rather than live in base and go to Mesa. Whats the best commute from this area? I don't mean to hijack the J-ville thread, but I figure they are 2 1/2 hours from each other...so pretty similar.
