shuttle american and ORD???
Does any shuttle guys out there know how it will be to hold ORD right after i.o.e?? is this a sr. domicile?
|
If you are senior in your class, you have a chance. Otherwise you will likely go to Indy or Columbus. Pretty much no chance of Atlanta.
|
how long do you think i would have to keep a standing bid in for ORD if i go to indy
|
Within 12 months.. likely sooner. A S5 guy would have a better idea; I just know what bases are senior and where people have been getting assigned.
|
Probably IND out of class. They are telling us 3 mo or so for ORD. No idea for 3 months for Atlanta.
Checkride is Saturday, and still no base info. |
Oct. 4 Shuttle Class
I'm in the Oct. 4th class for Shuttle, anyone else have this class date?

Passed the checkride today....
Still no base. (Here is me frowning!!!) |
Yup that's standard. All but two in my RW class were doneplete before we got classes. We even had one dude done IOE. If you are RW expect PHL, if you are S5 expect IND. If you are senior in your class, you might get something higher up your list. Not sure where the CHQ guys are going. Everyone in my class got their first or second choice on the January system bid. The only base not assigned was DEN.

I heard from another Shuttle guy that there is only one Reserve pilot in ORD at the moment. There is no harm in putting it first on your bid.

One of our FO's from Colgan just left here and they told him ATL is junior and would hold it out of training.
