Actual pay @ Regionals

What's up guys? Long time no talk to for some of you. It's great to be back.

For the regional guys out there who are line pilots, what is the average number of hours you flight per month and is your base salary determined by # of hours times hourly rate?

Please for simplicity sake exclude any additional ancillary monies that maybe added to your paycheck. All I'm looking for is the basics.

Thanks,

atp

I have been holding a line for a while now
This is how it works for me
about 85 hours give take a few.
perdiem

and I would say it is about 1900 2100 take home

That is a lose ballpark figure.

i bid reserve and I fly about 6 hours a month and work maybe 5 days, my check sucks at the end of the month, but I get paid to play video games on my non used reserve days, and drink on my off days. Not too bad of a gig!

I fly about 90-95 hours a month, 95-100 hours of credit. Per-diem typically $400-$450 range. $2300 before 401K/taxes/insurance, about 1900-2000 after 10% 401K and the taxes/insurance. The months of june and july were 110 hours of credit months with super short staffing and jan and feb I was on rsv so just guarantee and some per-diem. The first year total will be about $24K @ $20.73/hr. I WANT MY CONTRACT AND RETRO!;)

According to my logbook after one year online:

735 hours total, average is a little over 61 hours/month. I sat nearly six months of reserve (and didn't get called out very much at all) to start this year.

During the past 5 full months that I've held a line, I've flown 424 hours, averaging to about 85 hours/month. Our lines are getting better (as is my seniority), so this number should continue to increase until I upgrade. I usually pick up about 7-8 hours out of open time each month to boost the paycheck and flight time a bit.

Take home pay, per diem not included, during lineholding months has been averaging 1100-1200/month. I contribute to my company's 401(k), but I don't have their insurance. When on reserve, made right around $1000/month, including per diem. I'm sure that this is the low end of the spectrum (Great Lakes), but hope this helps.

I fly around 90 hrs a month get about 100 hrs of pay credit, and on 1st year FO pay I take home around 1800 a month.

Well, you would have to include "additional ancillary monies" (I have no idea what ancillary means btw) because there's often a big difference between the actual hours that you fly and your pay which is based on credit hours. for example I am blocked for only 50 hrs this month but my credit hours are up to 90 so far.

As a Colgan captain I have middle of the road health care. I average 94 hours of flight per month and credit average of 109.

Monthly $4600 or $55,200/yr.

My take home is $3950 or $47,400/yr.
