Any truth to Pinnacle base opening out W

I have read some rumors (and I must say only rumors)of Pinnacle opening a west coast base.:confused: Does anyone have any inside info on this. Considering applying but would hate to have to travel 1700 miles to work. If they did open one how long would it take a new guy to get the F out and to somewhere like ATL:)?

How are their interview tests nowadays?

you could almost have atl right now. lots of junior fo's are going there. as far as west coast goes, slc, and lax are going to be bases in the near future, when, who knows.

Wait, how many vacancies opened up in ATL? I thought it was only 10 CA and 10 FOs, both of which went very senior?

first atl vacancy was for 12 captains, went super senior 12 fo's about 1 year doh

Second ATL was for 5 of each

For somebody hired in October, is there ANY chance of being 'forced' Atlanta?
For example, I want DTW. So I'll put in a preference of DTW, MSP, MEM, ATL. Do you think there is even a remote chance of getting Atlanta if the bid is put in exactly that order? Or, is ATL going pretty senior?

No worries. Judging from what has been posted in the CEC it has all gone pretty senior to ATL. You will get DTW no problem.

It will take you 1 year to get atl is my prediction

you guys aren't looking at the vacancy correctly then, or you guys are super junior... the most senior fo that got atlanta had a seniority of 930, the most junior was 1083,, so atl was far from super senior..

PinnacleFO 09-19-2007 10:49 AM

captains were senior, fo's about 1 year

Nobody is being "forced," and it is pretty far off from reaching that point. I don't see that ever becoming the case.
