Pretty sure it's the same company. Any of the bags will fit in the CRJ overhead if you don't over pack them. Most get the standard carry-on size.

My PNT is:
8" Deep
14" Wide
22" Tall

Depth & width are the key for the CRJ overhead, anything more than 8x14 won't work.

It can be as long as you want...22" exceeds legal carry-on size, but they don't enforce that for crews anyway. The 22" will barely fit wheels first in a Boeing bin, so that's handy. In the RJ (and many MD bins) it has to go sideways.

This may surprise you but at Brookstone they actually have pretty good luggage. I actually just picked up a floor model rollaboard that was sitting in our back room for $50. Can't remember if it's 21 or 22 inches but it has tons of innovative pockets and lots of room, plus a fold out suiter for your shirts and a fold up toiletry kit. It's black "ballistic" nylon. Not sure if it would be considered "airline pilot capable" but working there for 2 years I've come to see which products are good and which are bad, and our luggage is probably some of the best stuff we sell.

Current price new I think is $125 or so, 30 day return period with receipt and in like-new contition. One year warranty for manufacturing defects only, must have receipt. No receipt, u get nothing.

By the way, Brookstone as a company has gone down hill and I can't take the nasty customers anymore so I handed in my notice the other day.

I have looked up these brands and they are way overpriced. Go to Wal-Mart, JC Penney, etc. and get you a decent rollaround for under $50. The luggage you are referring to only costs more because it is labeled as a flightcrew item.

PNT will last longer than anything you get at a department store. I don't think we have the same definition of decent and I want my equipment to be better than just decent.

Agreed, I went with a department store bag first and it didn't last a year. The PNT has metal edging, among other components that make it MUCH sturdier...

I beg to differ.... my Travelpro that I got from luggageonline.com, HORRIBLE. After about 10 months one of the handles fell off, and it is a piece of junk...too many pockets make it bulky. After I got sick of looking ghetto walking through the airport---I sucked it up, paid for the PNT luggage and don't regret the purchase one bit. I DO regret buying a piece of garbage the 1st time. The whole flightcrew item thing---well, I am pretty impressed with the "flightcrew" items having a metal frame while others have a plastic frame at best.
