...if you want to look like Ranger Joe every day you go to work...be my guest! :p

Oh...and if you want to have a Drink (ie. soda, coffee, etc.) be prepared to pay for it yourself...YES...that's right! You can't snag a Coke from the Sky Hag Trolly anymore!

You'll earn more working on the right seat of a CRJ.

There are CRJ/ERJ F/Os who earn more than Skybus captains.

The ONLY reason to go to Skybus is if you are from CMH and want to drive to work.

The irony is that they are sort of modeled after Ryanair in Europe, but Ryanair pilots actually earn good salaries.

Skybus is a joke which will hopefully go away soon.

In the words of an airline analyst discussing Skybus' business plan: "This ain't Europe and this ain't Ryanair".

Thanks for the info. I haven't done any of research and it appears I shouldn't even waste my time.

Do your research. There is never anything wrong with that. And maybe the company would fit what you need. But the general feeling in the industry is that it's a bad place to work for 99.9% of all pilots.

But doing your own fact-checking is never bad.

is that for real... my parents used to have a vending machine at their store and a can of soda literally costs like 15 cents. cant believe the airline wouldnt spare their crew this cheap commodity. i guess they figure, those dimes do add up!

Type Skybus into the box in the upper left corner of this page and then click search. There is quite a bit of info on Skybus on this board although as others have mentioned, not much of it is positive.

I located the other Skybus threads and it doesn't look pretty.
