Crashpads

Hello. Does anyone know about living in ROA and/or crashpads? Any info would be appreciated.

My guess is that it would be fairly difficult to find a crashpad (if not entirely impossible) at an outstation - I don't believe ROA is a hub for anybody!!

Hey nevermind - that's a base for ya'll, isn't it?

Try crashpads.com. Good website, small lifetime user fee. Well worth it.

I know ROA fairly well. A very nice place to live. My guess is that while it may take a little research, you'll find something nice at a good price

Yeah, it is a base for us.

Ok so nevermind about ROA. I need to find out about SBY. Any good info would be appreciated.

Is ROA where you want to be? How long until you can hold it??

Who the hell knows. I wanted LGA first b/c I'm from NY and my mom lives 30 min away and my dad 20 min away. But I'm not too thrilled about the living at home w/ the rents and the cost of living, well on a Pilot salary- Yeah right. I then choose ROA for cost of living, still a small city compared to my other choices with PDT and they have a lot of overnights. I think I'd try to x-fer to ROA.

LoL I know where you're from dude :-P I grew up right down the road!

Hell, if I could commute easily from NY, I'd be home in a heartbeat...as much as I hate traffic LoL
