Compass commuter clause?

Not even knowing what a commuter clause is, I understand Compass has one. Can someone explain it to me?

Taking a stab at it...

Basic commuter clause language in the Contract allows for a Pilot to miss a trip (discipline-FREE, which is the key here), if he can prove that he was listed on ::usually:: at least two flights that would have resulted in arriving on-time for work...

Thanks, but curious if anyone has the hard facts.

I believe their commuter policy is you have to have 2 flights that would get you to domicile by your report time. A primary and a back up. It is unlimited, meaning you can use it as many times per year as you need it. If you do not make a trip for commuter issues, you do not get paid for it.

That is correct but it is in the wording that you also have to still get to work asap. Meaning you cant use it just cause you dont want to work. Also at Compass, if you use it too much they can suspend you from the privledges. How many times that is ???? it does not specify.
