To the guys who are one the line.
I wanted to know if there was a way for you to copy and paste a schedule on here. I'm trying to get a feel for a junior schedule, if its commutable or not?

Definitely NOT commutable.

Depends on where you commute from. There are almost no pairings that are both end commutable. As a junior line holder you will start at 6am and end your trip at 2200. After a couple months you will be able to hold front or back end commutability, but you wont see a weekend or holiday off.

Depends totally on where you are based and where you are commuting from.

As a VERY junior lineholder summer of 2006 I was able to hold 4 day weekend trips in PHL that were commutable on one end. Sometimes I got lucky and could swap with opentime for totally-commutable stuff.

I do know guys with 20-24 months that can get totally commutable 4 day trips...but they have a relatively good commute (into domicile fairly early and a late flight home) and work least one, if not both, weekend days.

This month is my first line here at AWAC I work FRI-MON early show with early outs on Monday. 19-27 block per 4 day with descent overnights.

this is also my first month as a line holder and I got trips with a showtime of 12 to 1 pm, but I finish late on the 4th day. at least they are commutable on the front
