Upgrades at Colgan
 

Yes, I know they are hiring street captains because they dont have enough FOs ready to upgrade. So, I was wondering what are the mins for upgrade?

As long as we are on it, how many months for upgrades?

i cant speak for the whole fleet but I have a friend on the SF and he was saying around 12 months IF (there is always an IF) you go in with around 1000 hours because you need somewhere around 2200 tt I think it was so if you get hired with 400 you can not upgrade regardless of seniority.

I can not speak for the 1900 but I have heard around 6-8 months but like I said, heard it not very reliable information

upgrades on the Q are 3200tt and I believe waiverable to 2700

there are a few colgan guys on this board so they can fill in the gaps

1000 in type and an ATP of course on the SAAB. I don't know about the other equipment.

Heard both. Recruiting is saying 1000 in the Saab. Brink is saying 2200TT/1000 in type.

There have only been a few with less than 2200.

PS. For those of you who are going to ignorantly state how the Yankees have highest payroll, I dont think there is any team in the playoffs right now that have as much "home-grown" talent then the Yankees, "Rivera Joba, Jeter, Cano, Melky...... The list goes on

By they way, how's life at Colgan? At some point my Army Career will fiinally be over and I'll be looking for a normal job with about 2K TT and close to 1K ME Turbine PIC. Quick upgrade for 121 PIC in an aircraft over 25K lbs is what I'm looking for, but I don't want my life to be horrible chasing numbers that I could get elsewhere.

AWAC- Industry leading pay and contract.

XJT- Mediocre pay and contract. Not to mention Saab, that would be enough to keep me from it.
