Yet once again, a thread runs away without answering the original question. Just dumb remark, and comments. I would love to help out, however it's been A LOOOOONG time since I was there. We didn't have "reserve lines". They threw in a couple reserve days here and there, along with trips. You used have to be "ready reserve" at the hangar. (Or at home if you knew the MX people working could call you when the company called, and you'd be there in 10 mins.. Ahhhh, before I had a cell phone...)
Maybe someone STILL WORKING there can shed some light. Everyone I know pretty much left for bigger iron/composite:D

The fact that Three Green is asking what its like would imply that he has been assigned reserve time.

If its a general question, well there is not much reserve time at CJC.

Who is CJC anyway?

Laxrox43 10-10-2007 01:07 PM

Colgan = CJC

There is really no way to tell you exactly what to expect. Some people sit reserve for a month or less with moderate use and no problems. Others have spent 4-5 months reserve doing the "Colgan World Tour" with only 8 days off and not knowing where they'd spend the evening everynight. As we get into next year I expect reserve lines becoming the new thing as they start shifting away from outstation basing.
