Best days to commute?

I am just starting this commuting thing and I am looking for input as to the best days to commute. I have tried Wed-Sat and found that Wednesdays are good but Saturdays are a little more difficult due to reduced schedules in the evening.

What have your experiences been?

there are NO good commuting days....LOL

seriously ... it may take you a few months to figure out which flights on which days lend them selves well to commuting.....based on load factors etc.....

I agree that there is no good day to commute. I would say it is really gonna depend on where you are trying to go. MSP...NO good day. LAS...Sat is not too bad and maybe Thur but not Sunday out or Friday/mon in.
Those are my experiences. Really it depends on where and what time of year it is. Holidays and Spring break can be really tough. Most days I look at 2 legs and last week it took me 12 hours to make it home from MSP to SEA 2 legs via LAS.

try going to BOI or GEG first on NWA then SWA or Horizon to SEA. This is the best when i use to commute to PDX from MSP.

Generally Tuesday all day and Saturday afternoon. After that, Thursday.

This only applies during a normal, non-holiday week obviously.

The very best time to commute is the morning before a trip or the afternoon after. I don't care what else is going on or what day it is, that's what the commuter policy is for. Whenever I don't have to go to the crashpad is a Great time for me.

12 hours is the norm for me to commute, and that would probably be a good day! As said above no day is great for commuting! I am going on 7 months of commuting from Iowa to California and still figuring it out! Get as many options as you can and have multiple outs through different hubs. I am really getting tired of flying all day, commuting home on a red-eye in the jumpseat as usual, no sleep, getting home to only stay awake all day, and having leave the next day to start another 12 hours of commuting to get back to six straight days of work! "Aaaaaaa living the dream.................?" Good thing I love my job!

Ohhh...what I'd give for a commuter clause. Commuting hasn't been a problem for me since I started doing it a couple months ago...but I'm dreading this winter when I'm trying to get into or out of South Dakota and a blizzard shuts that half of the country down for three days like Denver last year. Good luck non-reving then, eh?
