Health Insurance cost?

I'm curious to what everyone's paying for health insurance next year. SkyWest will run $247-298 a month for a family for HMO or PPO coverage.

Around the same where I am at with a $900 yearly deductible

Mine is $45/a paycheck, single. I chose the crappiest plan with the highest deductible because I can't afford to shell out $100 per paycheck.

i had to edit to say 140 a month. i couldn't remember if it was 70 or 75 per check so i went with the higher just to be safe.

yeah, our medical and dental are great,, its about the only thing we have that is better than most carriers.

We carry our medical thru my wifes company a MAJOR "IT" company with 90,000 employees and ours run 132 per paycheck.. and she is paid every two weeks 9 26 times a year,,,,, 20 dollar copay... and 1500 dollar family deductible

$150/month next year for family coverage for Medical and Dentral. My wife and I are expecting our first child and all we pay is the $10 co pay each time, and the insurance covers the rest. Pinnacle has one of the best Medical and Dental out there.

$266 a month for family coverage, drops to $180ish after first year pay (yeah kick me some more while i'm down). $15 copay, $1000 yearly out of pocket limit in network, 90/10 split.

But on a positive note, my wife's new jorb at the hospital is about $250 with worse coverage and doesn't drop after the first year bleeding period.

single 37 a month, 20 dollar co-pay, and 500 dollar deductible

Can't afford Insurance!

Nightsky 10-31-2007 05:36 PM

$140/ month for my wife and I per month. No deductible, 90% coverage, plus copays and a $2500/yr max out of pocket (which we are hitting with my wifes chronic health problems). When I worked for the gov't before, we had no health deductions, covered at 90%, no deductible. That was nice.

Do any airlines out there reimburse you the money if you decline their health insurance? My wife is military so we have free insurance and would not need any provided by the company.

I have heard of some companies who give the employee the money they would spend on health insurance if they decline it or have insurance elsewhere.

Doesn't happen at SkyWest.

I'm voting Hillary, and then everybody will have totally free health care, jobs, education, housing, big-screen tv's, cars, clean air, peace, freedom from oppressive religious zealots, and it will all be paid for by the government. Amazing. Why didn't they think of that before?

Oh wait they did, it's called communism.

I can't afford health care either.
