Crewtrac and Mac Computer

Does anyone knows how to make CREWTRAC work on a Mac computer? I've tried Safari, Firefox, Opera, Netscape internet browsers. Please someone help me, it is driving me crazy, I can't check my schedule from my Mac computer. I'm currently using Leopard (10.5).

I've got the same problem but I'm still using Tiger. Nothing works but I do have Parallels so I have to run that to use IE just to get on CrewTrac.

not sure if this helps at all (not sure if we use crewtrac in some capacity), but SkyWest eTrip and SkedPlus+ have been working fine on my Mac (I have Leopard and Safari 3).

Gotta use parallels (costs $$) or bootcamp (comes with Leopard) to run Windows and Internet Explorer....I believe you can check schedules, etc., but you can't bid unless you're on IE on a Windows platform

flica works with safari just fine

I cannot get crewtrack to work on 10.4 under any OS. Well all have to upgrade to 10.5 and us Windows I guess.

windows = crap
You can use safari to look at eTrip, which does everything crewtrac does, and more.

Brilliant Eric!

haha yea I just figured it out the other day, its pretty sweet. You can self notify, check open time, and even look at pics of the crew.

Stalker...

You might also want to try Codeweavers' Crossover. I haven't tried it with IE nor do I have access to the particular website in question, but worth a try (free trial) and you might not have to install Windows since it will run right within the Mac OS.

BigWammerJammer 11-08-2007 11:46 AM

what is this eTrip? where can I find it?

Now regarding to run windows on my Mac, I can't. Reason why, is that my mac is a PowerPC and not an Intel Mac. So I can not install Parallels, to use windows. Any other suggestions are welcome... please!!!

Also, if you figured it out, please tell me where or how to do it?

Thank you

Crewtrac hardly works with IE, what makes you think they'd figure it out for mac? :)

eTrip is something ASA (and I'm assuming SkyWest) put on their websites. It is basically a copy of CrewTrac that actually works, and works on macs.

True it does work on my MacBook as well but does Skedplus actually 'work' for you.

I thought they didn't make it for mac anymore because of "security issues".

ToiletDuck 11-08-2007 02:12 PM

Yup you're right looks like they quit supporting it last year. Might still be able to download the older version though.
