Suggested reading for PSA new hires?

Hello, again:
I start ground school for PSA in January. Since I have plenty of time, can anyone suggest any books, websites or any other info that may help?
Would you spend the money on commercial publications pertaining to the CRJ? If so, which ones are worth the money? Thanks again!

Funny! I'll let someone else Google that!

Are you starting on the 7th or the 21st?

A good one to get it is the AvSoft CRJ "Buttons & Switches" book. Other than that I would not look at anything that the company did not provide to you. Most companies operate the CRJ differently, and you wouldn't want to look at any information that could confuse you later on. The buttons book is a great reference for the overhead panel, as it lists every switch up there, and what exactly it does.

What about the avsoft systems CBT training? If you have a ton of time to kill I figure this would be good.

Plus, I hear PSA uses CBT's to train.

I hear we are screwed as far as CFI's go. No replacements?!

Drunk at 11am? Sounds like a quality individual. Then again, maybe this is some of their favorite reading material :p

Sounds like an airline pilot.

Anyhow, for quality reading material during training, I suggest Stephen King's The Green Mile. Amazing read.
