If that's really what you meant to ask, it's 320 above 10,000'. Otherwise, Mmo is what schoolio posted. ;)

Haha, you don't want me flying my CRJ without "direction." I tend to advise the capt during the crew brief that when he hears the autopilot come off, feel free to declare......

scary...

however the flight director in speed mode in the ERJ isn't much better. While it doesn't go from 15 degrees to 2.5, it porpoises enough to make the guys riding out on the tip of the diving board annoyed.

The honeywell also has issues with turning in the wrong direction initially when changes are made to the FMS (heard a theory on why once...made "sense") which is also annoying. Getting in an out is nice, having the low ceiling/ raised floorboards is annoying for height though.

And i believe the 145 has two climb profiles in the AFM...one is the 270/.56 that we use, and the other is a 290/.65 which actually makes for a much smoother climb...IMHO.

Yeah, but the autopilot is gullible.

I call them "clearing turns" :D

Excellent. :D

Actually the worst thing I've seen was on an SRJ out of DCA. I actually had to ignore the flight guidance on the departure, since it was actually telling me to turn toward P56.

I have three names, depending on how it's acting.

If it's kinda slow, it's the "Stevie Wonder".

If it's abrupt, it's the "Ray Charles".

In between, it's the "Axl Rose".

For the ERJ with Honeywell just hold the TCS for a three count and it won't do it. Simple as that. I forgot the distance but it places the point out in front of the aircraft so it tries to drive to it before intercept. I'll give it to the Universals on that one but I still like the Honeywells more overall.

Whatever you have it's still better than the ERJ.
