He was shacking a FA and putting her up in hotels on the company's dime. I still wouldn't be surprised if he gets charges filed though. That's basically stealing money from the company/share holders. It could get very serious.

The guy already spent time in jail once for doing shady things. You think he would have learned his lesson. Guess he got too comfortable at the job and thought he could do whatever he wanted.

if he was already a felon why was he hired in the first place? i dont see them hiring a pilot who was a convicted felon. Whats with the double standard?

I was told Bedford liked him and brought him along. Apparently while at Mesaba he would adjust times to show that crews weren't breaking any required rest or duty regs. The computers logged who made the changes so once the FAA pulled the records they put him in jail and kept him there until he went before a judge. I was told he wasn't kept after meeting with the judge but I don't know how true that is. I don't know what punishment he received either.

I gotta say the whole "jail" thing is a brand new rumor to me. The FAA did take a look at Joe about his times while he was at RAH though. Happened almost a year ago...

This was before RAH. I've had it confirmed as much as possible w/out holding something written in my hand. The issue that happened a year ago a scheduler was fired for and Joe received a "slap on the wrist" but no idea what it was. Both of these were from someone who's been here 10+yrs and knows the guy.

Joe C. logged onto FI and made a post about how it was tough for him running 4 departments at 1 time. He said he didn't fight for his job. He also said he wasn't escorted off the premises.

Someone said he has been hired by GoJets in the thread. He never denied it. His handle was confirmed by someone else. I looked at some of his past post and they had to deal with crew scheduling issues. Another pilot pointed out that he used that same handle on chqlounge.com and sure enough it was there. He logged on to calm some of the rumors and wish Merry Christmas. All he got in a return were several FUs coupled with other statements lol.
