Reserve question for 9E guys

I'm confused about what I've read in our contract about reserve and being scheduled for a CDO. I have essentially two questions that pertain to a specific event. I was scheduled for airport reserve from 7pm - 1130 tonight. About 10am this morning scheduling called me (naturally didnt answer the phone) and left a message that I should contact them so they can notify me of a highspeed tonight with an 8:50 showtime.

1. Aren't we suppose to be given 48 hours notice of a CDO?
2. Do I have any obligation to contact scheduling outside of my scheduled reserve window?

Thanks in advance for any and all replies

I don't work for 9E....but both airlines I have worked for, you would not be required to call back until you are on call. Sounds like they are just giving you a heads-up about it now so you can sleep and be ready for it.

BTW....It is gonna be a tough weekend to be a Gopher fan.....after the Sioux embarrass them in the FORKS this weekend!

You will get more direct answers from going to airlinkpilots.com. If you don't have a user name and password, register for one. Then you will be able to ask your fellow 9E guys and gals to help you out. This is a great resourse for you.
