New QX base

I've heard rumours of a new base further south. Anyone have more information?

Everybody knows the Rumours about that base. Fact is, until we get new airplanes late in 06' AND cannot get rid of the -200s we want to, we do not have enough aircraft to streach into another base.

I hadn't heard about it before, not being a QX pilot. Was mainly wondering if it was proposed to be at SMF or where?

What about Skywest? QX is the highest paying regional airline, I think pilots could manage. Personally I would like to see more CRJ7s at LAX.

With the mafioso type management? good luck

The only place you will see more RJs is the desert. Horizon flys 74 seat Dash 8's that are larger inside than the CRJ 700. They have 1/3 the cost per seat mile and are a money machine! If you put one an any route less that 2 hrs, any RJ will get spanked in the pocket book!
