Bae 146 AWAC

How long is AWAC planing on keeping their Bae 146s? I figure since Mesaba is getting rid of all of thier Bae146s AWAC must be doing the same thing soon. Does anyone has any experience flying one?

They will be done with them in April 2006.

Air Wisconsin is sending all of the 146's to Walnut Ridge Arkansas to be cut into scraps! What a shame!!! I've never flown one, but it is supposed to be a pilot's airplane.

That's bad info. A few were sent over the pond to England I believe. I know that some senior 146 captains are in charge of training the pilots who fly the queen around in her 146.
