From Yahoo News:
Big Sky will continue to operate in Montana while it works to transition its services to another carrier.
That won't take long, and they definately won't be doing any hiring.

I would imagine in the future Colgan would probably fly Q's for them..............yet another blow to the industry, and for those that think I am bashing Colgan, I am not, I am bashing the fact that an airplane that carries as many people as the Q does, is not flown by a mainline Pilot

Well...they were doing an awful lot of open interview sessions prior to this announcement. I wonder if they didn't have enough pilots willing to get hired on to BOS?
Given the COL in Boston, their FO and Capt payrates, and (at least it says on here) a 1 year $10,000 training contract, I can see them having difficulty getting pilots. Not saying anything negative about guys who chose to go there (I understand the Montana op is a great operation for people wanting to live in those parts). Sure, you get to upgrade fast on the 1900 and it's probably all out and backs, but after looking at the profile on here, I can def see them having staffing issues.
