Not sure how many are in the class. Three of us got offers when I interviewed. During the intro they said ASA would be running a class every 2 weeks for a while. I think they were looking for 20.

I had a voicemail today from Dana.... here is where we're staying

Anyone know if this place is relatively safe? Safe enough to keep a car?

Not if it's a nice car and not if there are valuables in it. It's not in the hood, but there certainly is a thuggish element to contend with.

It's as safe as you can expect around the parimeter of Atlanta. Someone's car got stolen from that hotel when they were in systems class several weeks ago. If it's nice, don't bring it. If it's not nice these highly educated people you will be surrounded by will not think anything good is in there, though they may at least break in anyways. Drive a slightly older Honda, Toyota, or Jeep Cherokee? Just leave the key's in it, lol.

wellesley is about 2 blocks away from the red roof and fsi where youll have ground school. its a pretty rough area. cars are stolen weekley from the hq parking lot. id recommend not bringing a car.....youll have plenty to do rather than driving around atl. if you need to go to walmart or something the hotel shuttle will take you.

My car is about 4 years old, but it is still really nice, so I guess I'll just have someone drop me off at the hotel on the 26. Thanks for the info!

That is not true. cars are not stolen weekly. I used to be a Police officer in that area. Its not as rough as people are making it sound. Its mainly hotels and resturaunts in that area.

just about. went with a buddy last weekend to pick up his truck from hq. truck wasnt there but two big ol black skid marks through the parking lot and grass sure were. another guy in his crash pad got his car stolen recently as well. if you take a car, make sure you have comprehensive insurance.

cars are stolen every day in every type of neighborhood. Training... without a car...no way.
