For you rj 900 operators out there.

So I was on our scheduling site and noticed that we have 4 different types of planes listed now to choose from. we have the

CRJ
CR9
3R9
3RJ

what are those last two. I am assuming they are some variation of the 900 just never seen it before. any thoughts?

Is AWAC getting -900's? I've heard they want to skip the -700 entirely...

Where did you hear that.. Do Tell

ExperimentalAB 12-25-2007 12:41 PM

Heard about a year ago that they missed the boat on the -700's, so in an attempt to actually plan ahead this time, they were really only looking at the larger RJ's.

Won't vouch for my source, but only because I don't quite remember who or what my source was...Certainly sounds plausible, but take it with a grain of salt, as always.

This would mean they would have to secure more flying, I have not heard of any new flying or larger aircraft tho

But I suppose that would be in line with Republics E170s flying for USair

Absolutely...and I was certainly thinking they could be there to pick up the slack when USAir finally gives Mesa the boot...
