Mesaba Preference bid
 

Just wondering if there is a period of time after a vacency award that you can change you're mind. Ex, you had the preference bid filled out wrong and didn't realize it till the awards came out? Just wonderning about this for future reference.

Nope. The awards are theoretically final. Revisions happen when planning makes a mistake, not when pilots make mistakes. In other words, planning will not accept "I forgot to update my pref bid" as an excuse. I'm sure there are exceptions, but in general it is up to the pilots to keep their pref bids up to date.

There was a way to get out of a position but a limited time frame. You have till you you go to class to change your pref if there are vacancies in your current position.
