I won't argue the midwest birds, that seems like a forgone conclusion. But I don't recall hearing about four new DAL 900's...enlighten us please?

It was part of that order to replace the 18 Bros, 4 delta 900s were part of the order for 22.

It was 22 RJ's for 19 EMB's coming off line and 4 being moving into "at-risk." Keep in mind that the swap calls for a rather long transition.

From what I hear here on the Bro side is we are loosing fewer 120's that they originally anticipated. I believe we were to retire out 8 EMB's here in December but only took 4 off the line. I also haven't heard of anymore being removed until the new CRJ's come, then the replacement of a one to one will start to happen. But that isn't until later in 08 and start of 09 if I am not mistaken. The Bro's don't seem to be flying out of here to fast and I haven't seen hardly any spares sitting over on the MX ramp in FAT anymore. We are however loosing the ONT and SNA flying next month. Probably need these planes for more IYK flying! Ok, I was just kiddin there!

That's great news for all EMB pilots seeing that the ONT & SBA flights are only about 7-13 minutes depending on which way you're going (out or in). With those legs off the schedule, your 8 leg days will pay more and allow you to climb high enough to cool the cockpit (you know what I'm talking about). I can't tell you how many times I flew 8 legs (14 hr duty day) and the cockpit temperature needle never got below 40C. I've never drank more water then I did when I was on the Bro.

Also I’ve never felt pilot fatigue like I did on an 8 leg day in the middle of July or August on the Bro.

HOT!!!!!

Just had a converstaion with a SKW pilot, who said he had been talking to some other SKW CRJ pilots in other domiciles than himself. He said they were getting lousy schedules, 4 days on 2 days off all the time and that Captains out of his domicile were working tough schedules too. Is that true? He also said something about SKW having "part time" pilots? ***?
