Training plans on hiring about 600 or so from my talk w/them last night...don't know why w/o much growth but it's fine by me! Realistically I would expect a bit less, but still aggressive...!

Fine by me too! We will still need pilots pretty bad at least in the Bro! 11 reserve pilots in FAT this month and skdplus still says we are min reserve coverage! Whatever! That was my Christmas gift this year! A box full of red arrows!

11 reserves on the Bro side in FAT? Sheesh, wish we could be so lucky on the jet. Think January was the first time I've even seen ONE reserve line in the bid package. Needless to say there's not been a single day without the red arrow for us since the start of "SkidMark+". Useless tool for us. But red arrows even with 11 reserves??? Sounds like a useless tool for all then.

What does the upgrade time look like in the brazilia? Any chance of street CA (probably not)? [just saw 18-24 months on another thread] How is the turboprop training like, tough as nails?

Well they removed the only soda machine at the crew lounge that I liked.... that was uncalled for!! I need a new company with better soda machines. Thanks for the concern.

No street capts here. Looking at our bid list 18-24 months at least would be a pretty good time frame to upgrade in the Bro. Training wasn't to bad for me and everyone in my class made it though. Tough, yea it was but if you are trying they will help you get through!

Unless your a FA then it can be great. Our FA's are always dropping, swaping, and picking up trips with few to little problems. I just checked skdplus and I see two days this month with no red arrows. Can't believe my eyes! Of course its like the 25th and 30th of Jan so I am sure they will dispear here shortly. 17% reserves in base and this is the beast we can do? And the lines are way down for the month? I just don't get it! Oh, and there will be a guy sitting in our crashpad that will never fly........un-used! I can only hope to get displaced in Feb because they finaly realize our reserves need to fly to get their 100 hours in.

ORD seems to be getting pretty fat with pilots. If I'm looking at the right info, we have 200 FOs and 144 lines projected for Jan. 25% of pilots on reserve? Is that right? It's worse for CAs.....
