I have to search-and-destroy on the FMS, and all that after wrapping and twisting my arm around each of the thrust-levers and then the board-lever...takes me ten minutes to punch out a three-line text to dispatch! And forget it if there's even light-chop up there ...

if you read my other posts...you'll see that i said Delta does not have and never did have pic requirements....and that dates back to before 9/11....i should know...cause i worked in pilot hiring in jan of 2001
why do you continue to pick fights??....and think you know everything??

As for picking fights, I'm merely responding to comments made by others, presented as fact, that I know to be incorrect per personal knowledge. Are you the only one allowed to do that? If someone had more resent and accurate info than me I would hope they speak up for the benefit of others seeking information. I wouldn't think they were picking a fight with me.
I don't even come close to knowing everything. However, I think it behooves this forum if facts people would like to know concerning their careers are vetted out by those who have the correct information. I'm sorry you find that annoying.
And once again good luck with your job hunt. I ran into another Delta new hire today that came from Eagle with no TPIC. He had a pile of total time, but I don't think he had a lot of pic otherwise. He was hired back in June and was interviewed when J Swift was still manager of pilot recruiting. Maybe Arnie has a different take but I'm surprised they won't cut you some slack since you worked in the dept before, although pilot hiring has never been totally logical or fair. Keep trying.
