I don't really care but I find it amusing that pilots who work for a company that used to make you pay for training are that harsh on another. 10 years ago I think it was 7500 for the 1900 and 9500 or 10000 for the emb120 or ATR. You pay that plus your room and board. Airlines evolve over time just not overnight. Colgan won't change that fast just like express didn't.

just curious who this newarkblows guy works for what his experience in the industry is and what his experience with colgan is?

My assumption is that he/she is a recent Riddle-Rat grad that thinks he/she is God's gift to flying, Mommy and Daddy gave him everything he/she ever wanted, and this job (I'm assuming ExpressJet) is the first real job he's/she's ever had in their whole life...

Just a hunch...
