to the guys who have thousands of posts on the forum.... how much of your day is spend on this website? honestly

sometimes and hour sometimes days with nothing. Just depends where I'm at. If in CLE while it's snowing it's butt off then I've got nothing better to do. I'm not going out in that weather. Right now I'm visiting the folks and working on the farm for the next few days so I've got nothing going on.

5 minutes a day, If I post a post 6 minutes a day. If anyone has anything that sounds like it isn't BS, 7 minutes a day. If Saaabaroski posts a post 8 minutes a day. If it is about comair, 9 minutes a day. If it is about Skywest -1 minute. If it is about Mesa, well humm, does it count if I go to the restroom? If the moderators dog me for dropping the F-bomb 10 minutes a day.

On average, I spend about 30 minutes to an hour each day if that. I think and believe that it's a great way to gain some insight into the industry and exchange opinions.
Btw, does APC ever plans to have like a Meet & Greet someday? It'd be nice to put a face with some of the usernames and avatars.:D atp |
i dunno if thats such a good idea with the egos/opinions on certain issues on these boards

Well egos are the "id" gone crazy and with opinions....they're like the "pumpus part of the anatomy openings".....everybody has one!!!:D But you're right though. I will admit that there are some pretty sharp people that share accurate information about the aviation industry in this particular forum. Then there are the one's who come across as being "God's gift" to the regional forum on APC. I dunno. I just take what helps me and leave the rest. atp |
I'll admit... days that I'm working from home (the vast majority), I'll pop on and off on a regular basis (every hour or so for a few minutes) and do a quick read of various forums. If I'm not flying, odds are that sitting in front of a computer most times anyway (day trading, office work for the flight department, work for a non-profit that I'm a director of).
But then again, I'm the 6th most active poster on the boards, so I'll readily admit that I probably spend too much time online... |
