Anyone tried these belts?

Im sick and tired of setting off metal detectors at every airport I go to because of my belt buckle.... and frankly, I dont want to take the darn thing off at each security checkpoint day after day. Wondering if they hold up and actually work... Any thoughts or better products?

Just a hint for you guys that I have learned from a few buisness travelers is that if you turn your buckle sideways you have a pretyy good shot at not setting off the metal detector(As long as machine is on normal sensitivity). Always works for me-you guys should try it sometime.

yeah i got one

I like it cause there is no metal at all and never will set off the detector

it comes with three buckles, one metal ( i guess for normal day ops) two plastic ones, the silver/grey colored one looks dumb so i have the black one on. looks fine. I only use this belt for my uniform. Its not Imported italian leather but it is beep free!!

if you do order it, add 4 inches to your waist size, do not order your actual waist size like the site suggests, it will be small

I buy mine at wal-mart, never take it off.

Yep... One of the things I'm currently working on..... till then, beep free belt!

I bought my belt at Robinsons or somewhere like it...can't remember. It's a real nice belt that has never set off the metal detector. Just saying, in case you don't want to go the plastic belt route....there are metal ones that don't set off detectors. Its weird cause my belt, pens, and sunglasses never set off the metal detector. You would think someone would make a knife or gun out of that material?... Or do the metal detectors work on quantity of metal? Man I'm going off on tangents.

My shoes on the other hand do set off metal detectors.

Just get one that's made of aluminum. I have a Banana Republic belt I wear that never sets it off. Heck my watch doesn't even set it off. Pockets full of change, belt, watch, and ring on and I'll walk right through. Carry my sunglasses butt naked and it screams bloody murder. And yes I've tried. It's actually a custom in Canada.

Oh I forgot, I wear rings and a watch too, and they don't set it off. My watch, belt, and rings are silver. No clue whats used in my sunglasses, but they're Spy Coopers.

I think the non-ferrous metals don't set off the detector as easily. I have a big fat buckle that goes through just fine, it's probably aluminum or plated brass.
