I think if you wanna commute on delta....they charge a fee for ASA....which to me is a bunch of bull....a former wholey owned has to pay to list for a flight but companies like chataqua and shuttle dont??? ***?

Anyway....the ATL is a great place to live....move down there...youll enjoy it....i miss atlanta....cant wait to move back....or at least somewhere down south :D

ok thanks...could I live ok if I have to rent an apartment with the first year fo income???

I am sure you will meet many others in the same situation. I am hoping to get ASA as well and will need a roomate to make it. Not sure if your single though so a roomate may not be an option for you.

hendefea 01-25-2008 05:09 AM

i wouldnt worry about the living thing......there are a ton of people who have/need roomates......thousands of people across the country make it work on first year fo pay every day....just got to get back to your college roots!

Most of the up and comers think they have to continue to PAY for stuff, when it's an obvious union negotiated benefit. . .You know, RJ course payment, books during ground school, and now a fee for jumpseating.

This is just what we need, FO's saying "Yeah, I'll pay $10 to hop a ride to work. . ."

Arg.

I think you guys are confusing jumpseating with non-reving. Delta pass riding policy has changed for ASA employees.. Its not the same as it once was. They are charging ASA now per flight to non-rev on Delta mainline.. A few emails have been sent out trying to fix the confusion. It was my understanding some guys were getting charged when they jumpseated on Delta.
