ASA. . .time to interview after application
 

Alright, I sent away the application packet yesterday.

Just wondering how long it usually takes for them to call me up if they like what they see.

Forget your app and resume. All depends on what Dan says about you. Hope you played your cards right.

Well, considering that he is the one who e-mailed my resume to Dan Robertson, I feel I've played the cards right thus far. Also considering that the same day DW e-mailed it up, ASA conducted the phone interview, two days after that, they called me back telling me a packet was on the way and to complete the application and return it.

Never wise to burn any bridge, at least not this early in one's career.

But either way. . .it's obvious you have some history with Falcon, and Dan Waters, care to PM me real quick with what it might have been?

Nevertheless, anyone else out there able to answer the question?

Can't PM yet, but yeah I instructed there last year. If he sent the email and you got the call already I'd say you have nothing to worry about. Expect something within the week. If not call them. Things went quick for me after Dan's email.

They called me the next day, asked me some questions and scheduled an interview for the following week.

I finished that today and should hear from them tomorrow.

Thanks guys, I'll see what happens today. It being Friday, I'll try to call if I don't hear anything before 3:30.

Dan Robertson just called me and welcomed me aboard.

I'm scheduled in the 2/11 class.

I filled out the online app about 10-14 days ago and still haven't heard anything. I have 600 tt and 170 multi.

So you got a class without going to an interview? Am I missing something?

I submitted my app on a Tuesday and got a call by Wednesday 9am. If you haven't heard anything by Monday, I would call.

The interview was great, I had a good time and enjoyed being around everyone there who was with the company.

No word today on my front.

Was afraid they would end up calling me while I was in cruise with a student on an instrument training flight, thankfully that didn't happen . . .

But, I'll give them a ring Monday afternoon.
