I get email and internet right on my phone. One less thing to carry. I also keep track of all flying on it too so I don't have to carry a logbook with me and use it for weight and balance calculations. Yes I pay a little more on my monthly bill but the convenience is worth it to me.

I got a Blackberry for the same reason. It's easy to answer email on your hip and you don't have to lug your laptop up and down the CRJ stairs four times a day. ;) With that said, if I have a boring crew or a long layover with a boring crew, I might take along my laptop so that I can chat on Skype with my friends or play games on-line with my wife. More often than not, I'm found playing with my crew on a layover rather than tucked in my "bunker" surfing the net.

I would get the Dell XPS m1330, really small and thin but also powerful enough to play most newer 3d games. I just bought the m1530, which is a little bigger but really fast. Mine decked out with bling was $1450, but they start at 999.

The m1330 will fit perfect in the PNT.

Because I can't imagine looking at porn on a blackberry. Plus if your crew or your overnight is dull, you can pop in a movie or a game and wait till van time.

Just got the 1330 last week and it's awesome. Fits perfectly in the laptop sleeve in the PNT and is easy to pull in and out while going through security.

I get work done on mine plus what was listed above regarding the movies/internet on trips with boring crews. Plus, when you're a commuter, they make nice portable DVD players to pass the time.

What i did with my PNT is i bought some sheets of 1/2 inch foam rubber and glued it to the inside on both sides of my PNT laptop sleeve. so now i have plenty of padding for my laptop even with my 40 pound flight case laying down on top of it.

I just procured myself a shiny-new PSP (thanks JetJock for giving me the idea of spending $300 LoL). Looks like that payraise that I voted down paid for it this month...

But anyway, we'll see if that, along with the iPhone, can keep me entertained enough to not bring the Laptop when I'm with a bunch of slam-clickers!

I keep my laptop in a neoprene sleeve and it slides perfectly into my flight case.
