HIREME, what you're suggesting is illegal. The MEC can't make any official statement about changing the status quo, and all of the things you mention would be interpreted by a judge as changing the status quo. This is something that the rank-and-file have to do on their own accord, just as the ASA pilots did. The ALPA leadership can't tell you to do it.

This is a serious allegation you are making and to the best of my knowledge is unfounded. Please elaborate. I'd like to know the initials of the person you are referring to and on what date / picketing event this allegedly took place.

I am not going to sppon feed everyone hear info. But its pretty simple. do you know who your new MEC chairman is? BINGO. Simple, ask him what he did during the first picket held at the MX hangar in MEM. If your contract is important to you, you'd all be on this stuff. Easy for people to whine from the left field cheap seats

The Chairman of the Pinnacle MEC is a friend of mine. He's worked harder for that pilot group and for the profession than just about anybody. Your attacks are unfounded and ridiculous. Are you aware that the picket at the -900 launch at the hanger was scheduled last-minute? Are you aware that the MEC Chairman doesn't bid a line and is only able to occasionally fly by picking up open time once or twice a month? Would you prefer that your Chairman never fly the line and see what goes on out there? Get a clue.

Either he picked up open time during a picketing event or he didn't, in either case you asked for the truth and then spit it out because it didn't fit your taste. WEAK
You really did pull that excuse out of your butt. Personally- SE should have been present at that picket, NOT picking up open time. That can be done at any time. That being said, he is one of the best MEC Chairs in the industry. |
Who cares if he was there or not. You people have no idea how much he has done for this pilot group and how much he cares. Do you realize how much time he spends on union related issues?
All of you who are complaining don't do a thing for the pilot group. You are the ones who sit around ****ing and moaning about everything. Give the guy a break. |
