Republic Contract Negotiations?

The airline info page says that they're "in contract negotiations". Can someone provide a little insight on this?

btwissel 02-27-2008 12:04 PM

yes, we're in negotiations with the company, and most likely will be for a couple of years. until such time as we ratify a TA, that'll be the status quo.

like all contract negotiations, not very much is being said, and we won't know any specifics until a Tentative Agreement is sent out to the pilots to look over and vote on.

Don't look for anything immediate. It will be better than what we currently have and it's very possible the pilot group will vote down the first one that comes out prolonging the negotiations.

btwissel is correct. We won't know anything until a TA comes out. As of right now you know as much as we now do.

You guys are gonna get cancellation pay, right.

Are pilots the only group that is unionized in the company. Do you know if the dispatchers are unionized as well?

I'm sure you'll see when the TA comes out. I would imagine it's on the higher side of things we want.
