Pinnacle Training

Anyone here have some input on Pinnacle training?

Heard during training you have to share hotel room with a fellow trainee is this correct?:eek::eek:.

Most likely you will have to share. Have fun! :)

that is pretty standard at the regionals, infact i don't think there is a regional that doesn't have double occupancy. if there is i am sure they will correct me. the only way you will luck out is if you are the only girl in class AND there isn't already another girl at the hotel by herself.

Mesaba is single occupancy for training

ASA is single occupancy.

I have some input...It sucks. I could name at least a dozen who left after the first few weeks. You may have your own room when your roomate leaves, but you still have to share with the cockroaches.

Back in the day they didn't pay for the hotel at all.

Actually everyone in our class got their own room. We were the class that transition from the Holiday Inn to the Homestead.

norskman2 03-01-2008 07:27 AM

The official policy is still double occupancy. However, every class for at least the last month has not been assigned a roommate.

This may be because of some people not showing up for the class. However, NO ONE in the last four classes has a roommate. How long that will continue is anyone's guess.

I've heard stories from people who had to double-bunk last year that it's possible to bribe/sweettalk the hotel desk staff to get a single room also.

The HomesteadSweetHomestead is not great, but it's okay. It's in a VERY unsafe neighborhood by the airport. The hotel has beefed up security so the rash of car breakins/thefts in the hotel lot seems to have abated.

I wouldn't even give the homestead "okay." That place is a dump! Try living in a nasty roach infested hotel for 3 monts, it's disgusting. I always kept a can of Raid next to my bed. It's okay, you get used to the smell of the Raid after a couple of days. ;)
