Ok, well I got the phone call today and was offered the job.....:)
1. Does PNCL send out any material prior to ground school?
2. If not, what should I study prior to ground school?
3. Anyone have any links or books they recommend for the RJ?
4. Any other advise is greatly appreciated, especially about ground school and what to expect.

4.) I wouldn't show up to class if I was you. Go to Compass or Mesaba. Same bases, much better companies. Pinnacle is nothing but lies.

I 2nd that, there's not very many people at pinnacle that very happy with them.

Why can't anyone give me anymore of an answer other than "don't go there". Give some real reasons other than flaming them.

Now, any Pinnacle pilots who can help me out would be great. If you'd rather PM me thats fine too. Thanks in advance.

Oh and my prediction is when pinnacle gets their contract you guys wont be bashing them.

And how many MORE years do you think that will take? Management is stalling and will continue to drag it out as long as possible.

It's the steroetype your going to get
1. you have SJS
2. your quality of life will suck
3. you'll lower standards, just to name a few

I hope that they do get a good contract, but it's true it will be a year or two. It's a better company then it was when they were express. you should do a search on APC and read some of the crap that happens there, don't get me wrong I'm glad you got a job however I'd keep looking for a better one.

Give me til tonight and i will post my thoughts. Maybe another pncl person will beat me to it but there are many pluses and minuses to this place. i have been here 1.5yrs and have pretty darn good qol. Look up other threads on pncl and you will find comments from some who actually work here. Many post on here from things they have "heard". Not saying you shouldnt look at XJ if you like the nwa bases. Compass doesn't appease me with the flowup/down with nwa in the time of "mergers".
