SKYW Folks: April Reductions?
Hey Skywesters,
I just about crapped myself when I saw the April bid for ORD. I had lineholder senority for March, but for April it appears I'm about 15 slots away.
It looks like there's fewer lines projected for April than March. You think United is reducing our flying for fuel prices? I expected there to be MORE flying. Maybe it's because Spring Break is in March this year....
Or maybe I should just shut up and fly.

I wouldn't worry yet! As an industry, with $106/barrel oil, there's going to be a reduction in flying. You have to expect this, but the skies are falling and let's hold off our judgment until this summer; when things pick up. If things don't then the damage of high oil prices to the industry is far more extensive than we though.
