Republic - Denver Base

Does anyone know what the chances are of getting Denver if hired by Republic? I live there with my wife and daughter and really can't move yet. Thanks.

WWW.REPUBLICPILOTS.ORG They have better info on Republic than here.

Denver is extremely senior and RAH is holding their breath right now regarding Frontier. You won't be able to hold it anytime soon.

Thanks for the info. I figured Denver was pretty senior not to mention possible woes with Frontier flying. I have been looking into SkyWest but it looks like they put a freeze on hiring for the time being.

You should be able to commute fairly easily to the other RAH domiciles. I start class on 3/25 and will be commuting from SMF till I decide where to relocate to. Just one of the many perks associated with the regional airlines:)

Ummm... you'll likely be two-leggin' to almost all CHQ domicles and some RW/S5 domiciles; and lots of trips start early and end late

I agree. No 2 leg commutes! I did one leg DEN to STL several years ago; that gets old quick but it was doable.

Being ex-Navy, I'm OK with being away from home for a bit, so I'll be using crashpads, and jumping on the cargo guys. Hopefully we can sell the house soon in this craptacular real estate market that we have out here in CA
