First Flight with regionals
 

How was your very first flight with the regionals after being hired?
Scared? Nervous? Excited? Overwhelmed?

What was teh feeling sitting up in the cockpit with all that power behind you as you screamed down the runway the first time??

Do the women stare at you when you walk through the airport terminals?

I will be attending PPL training after I return back to the states this summer. I am still active duty army.

Most of them tear their clothes off and beg to be ravished.

Only had that happen a couple of times. Seriously though, I love walking through the airport and smiling at the cute ones who are with boyfriends or husbands. They always smile back, especially the 20 somethings:D

Happy I didn't have to flight instruct anymore.

Don't know if I've ever seen an RJ "scream" down the runway!

Depends if your zipper is down or you have a streamer of TP stuck to your shoe.

First flight was like a monkey you know what'ing a football. The Dash didn't exactly scream down the runway so I had alot of time to think about the huge paycut I just took. The women do stare in between pointing and laughing.

In all seriousness though it was a blast. Good luck in your training and stay safe soldier. :D

They don't just stare. They shun their families and run to me. They throw themselves at me. They swoon. Have you ever seen footage of the Beatles at Shea Stadium? Screaming and fainting is what happens when I part the seas at the terminals.

When I hold court in my captain's uniform, folks, it's like nothing short of royalty.
