Anyone in the 4/7 EMB 120 Class @ SKW?
 

I was just notified I will be invited to the April 7 EMB 120 New Hire class at SkyWest. I know that Bhopper is in it, anyone else?

Congrats, I will be in the April 7th upgrade class but we won't be in the same room. You will be in Indoc the first week and upgraders will be in systems, they keep the class separate unlike the CRJ New Hire/Transition/Upgrades classes.

Congrats and have the Pre-Class study packet memorize before you get to class. It will lighten your work load considerable.

You’ll find that BHopper88 will be in your EMB new hire class.

I interviewed on 2/12. Apparently, I was slated to be in a 5/5 new hire class but someone in the 4/7 was not able to keep his slot in that class so I was told I was next on the poolie list. That's my understanding of how I came to be in the 4/7 class. So it's my understanding that there is a 5/5 EMB120 New Hire class being put together right now.

Man I don't get it! I interview on 01/28, got the RJ and I'm going to be in the pool forever and everyone that interview after me is starting class senority dates suck!:(

Only 4 in the upgrade class! Dang, I thought I saw like 10 awards for the April upgrade. I finally decided to stop lurking and throw in my bid for the EMB upgrade. Am first in line for Fresno, but wonder how long it will be before I'll get the next award. Anyone know if that recent award was split among the April and May classes?

Maybe you can call them and let them know you want the Brasilia and maybe get an earlier class date.

I take it you are CL? Of course I'm the most JR pilot in the upgrade class which is hilarious seeing the last class had 10 pilots upgrading and 9 we're JR to me. LOL! I guess we're all starting to realize it's better to me an EMB CA line holder that wait 6 months for the next RJ class just to end up on reserve for who knows how long.
