TSA training?
Can anyone on here give details of how training at Trans States goes? Where do most people stay during training? Length of training? Amount of time spent on Indoc, systems, sim, etc. Also, is there anything to start looking at now, before training starts? Any info. would be appreciated!

Stay at crashpads 150/month is average 2 months on average 2 weeks indoc 9 days performance stuff 11 days systems, 8 sim sessions, (about 2 weeks) Just study 121 regs, jet systems, aerodynamics etc hope that helps pm if you have any more questions |
are you in the current class?

I wouldn't worry about studying ahead of time since you won't know what to look at. There is plenty of time once you're in class. Ground school is very straight forward.
The pay isn't much and it might take as long as a month before you get your first paycheck so plan ahead for that. You'll definitely want to find a crashpad to save some $$$$. Good luck! |
hey guys,
thanks for all the help. hoping to get a class date soon! |
Once you get your training date, PM me and I'll let you know what restaurants to avoid around the home base. I've worked at STL for 4 years and grew up in that neighborhood. Avoid any crashpads east of I-170 if there are any. Not the best of neighborhood.
